I’ve been thinking about dusting off my roller skates lately. I haven’t skated in years. But after watching the first part of this video, I’ve been missing out on doing something really fun, something I’ve felt I’ve somehow outgrown. It seems the older we get, the more fun we EXTRACT from our lives. Fun really is how joy and inspiration is created. Those really simple pleasures .
I’m grateful for seeking to rediscover joy in things I’d thought I’d outgrown.
What kind of fun is the treehouse going to have this weekend? And what about it are you grateful for?

I am greatful for new beginnings, my hair dresser, and new friends.
This may sound funny but I colored with my 2-year old nephew last Saturday and actually enjoyed it. It allowed me to clear my mind and was kinda therpeutic actually…lol. Who knew that coloring dinosaurs could be so fun? It just reminded me how much I loved crayons as a kid — I LOVED getting the 64 pack with the sharpener on the back…
Anyway, I’m thankful for all the play dates I have with my nephews.

I’m grateful for the restart of this great set that a bunch of my friends used to hit up and dominate for a three-year period. The DJ spins an incredible mix of early 90s hip hop, new jack and new ish for the crowd to groove to. Some how it fell off for a year. But this Saturday is a reboot.
It’s gonna be crazy.
I went roller skating less than a month ago. It was soooo much fun. Dust them skates off!
I’m a kid at heart. I’ve always admired kids and the simple things that can make them so happy. People always laugh at me because when it’s warm out I go to the park on the regular to swing. I love it!
So I’m grateful for being able to find joy in the little things. I have a date to the zoo coming up with my little cousin. I think I’m more excited than he is.

I’m grateful for my friends and family because even when it’s quiet time, I know they’re still there.
Grateful for the expected warm up on the long weekend!
Always grateful for the freedom to just be, make mistakes and try again.
I think I’ll take advantage of the weather and run around with my sisters dog in the park tomorrow

being alive. although this week has been crappy, expensive, and tiring, I am glad I got through it with all my arms and legs.
I can’t wait dust off: the motorcycle. Motorcycling is meditation, for real.
I’ll also be playing football this weekend. Hut hike my friends, hut hike.

This weekend I’ll be watching a crew of dudes install sprinkler system and landscaping my property. I do intend to put some meat on the grill tonight, and may break my calorie-watching to enjoy a six pack this eve.
I have a ton of studying to do as finals are coming up. And I just found out that I’ve got a position move at the job coming up that will have me parousing several publications.
So this weekend, I am thankful for the means to improve my abode, the opportunity to increase my knowledge, and somone to share it all with.

Sunday I’m going to an live recording and listening session for a local gospel artist. Other than that I’m being a bum and watching movies….
But kids are always around me for some reason they always gravitate to my parent’s house. And my momma has every game in the world that you can think of. But my parents live across the street from an elementary school so we’ll hit the field for a game of kickball, flag football, It, Red Rover.. You name it we playin it… I guess I am a big kid at heart…

I just read that our neighborhood roller rink is in financial trouble. Bow Wow was supposed to perform and canceled, so they had to refund like 500 tickets, money they did not have.
