I got the Steve Harvey letter out this morning. I needed to pray and meditate about it for a day at least. I am really excited that when I usually go out for lunch, people are requesting “Let Go” on WHUR. Not just saying “I want to hear Let Go” BUT….”I love that Lalah Hathaway Song, “Let Go” please play it. Its so exciting because I don’t go out at the same time. And I may only drive 10 minutes out of my way. That’s major.

Now I have ALOT of people to contact. I also know a few people that own a couple of restaurants. And so I am going to “REQUEST” they purchase “Self Portrait” and play it for Lalah Day on 6/3/08. I also have a contact list of about 1500 people, guess what if you’re on it, expect a detailed email from me. Comeback Kids it is so important, the message that we send with our DOLLARS. When you go to purchase Lalah’s album you are supporting her craft, her passion, the gift she has given us all for a LONG time. You are ALSO supporting an industry, a musical genre that has been in a bit of a slump. The buying numbers go down the older the market gets. A 17 year old has tremendous pull in music today, so what about the 30 + market. Comeback Kids let’s change that STARTING TODAY.

I am working on my Oprah letter. I’ve talked about being on the show a few times, and I would think that since I’ve only written her people to thank them for the opportunity, the dinner, the gifts, that they should REALLY be surprised to hear from me. I have three email addresses at Harpo hopefully they will be pleasantly surprised to hear from yours truly.
