The Black Man Plan

bplan.jpg

Its been forever and two Sundays since I wrote my BPM (Black Man Plan) post. Last I left you I told you that it no longer was really about a man. I actually proclaimed that on the first day.  I am pleased to report that this black Man has stepped his game all the way up. Perhaps because I stopped actively expecting it-making it somehow tied to my own happiness. Maybe because as most meta-physicians believe “the better it gets, the better it gets”. Or maybe I am finally becoming the woman I would want to love/marry and when you actively work on being better -better people and relationships show up and modify to suit who are you. An all woman’s college and a single mother doesn’t exactly educate/ raise you to be a great partner/wife. In fact the former taught me how to go out there and compete HARD in a man’s world. Fry some bacon, bring it home in great Crate and Barrel cast iron skillet (I opt for a Jessie Steele apron to make me feel more girly in this pursuit). The later was jaded enough to believe that she could and should do it all on her own.

And as I parlay it all into creating a business (and transforming a quasi one into a full fledged one), I heard someone ask on a radio program today: ” Would You Do Business With Yourself?” It struck me because it was some of the exact same questions that I asked when I posted: “Hello Negro, Would You Date Yourself”. The woman stated that your business and its success is a direct reflection of what and who you think you are.  Most people undervalue themselves and undercharge for their services because that value is in direct association of self worth. BRILLIANT. The same could also be said about the people we attract and the relationships we maintain professionally and personally.

Right now I’m about building real wealth not just a lifestyle. So over the next few weeks I will expose myself -as I did romantically -but this time I will do it from my own personal wealth/lifestyle perspective. I’ll talk about some hits (buying real estate in bmore for under $2,000 5 years ago, selling it at a profit of several 1000%. And some real dumb ass moves (not buying more and probably selling). Building a social networking business as well as the contract work I maintain as an engineer. Eliminating or minimizing debt. Relationship building, etc. And other hits and misses.

Thanks comeback, it will be great to hear about your successful ventures and mishaps in dealing in the business world and finance. Most of my more current blogs are dedicated to the real road to wealth (for me)including the (other stuff) I would like to hear how somebody eles did it and made it to the top with (True wealth) not just 2 houses 2 cars and credit card with 30k on it. I am talking about A true net worth which is where I plan to be in a few years. man I got a book to write this stuff is no joke.

Don’t forget your “brother” when you get big and don’t blog anymore!

Glad things are good with “O”. The better they are for him, the better they are for me … I’ve noticed.

I’m gonna get my butt kicked? U hitting on me?

I’m just saying … when life is good for a person … they tend to be nicer to everyone around them. Since I get the brunt of your anger towards all males … I make out like a bandit.
